Last Tutorial... Ever?
Apr 3, 2006 by rilla
Today I taught my last English 110 tutorial and, unless things go terribly awry/horribly horribly wrong, it will be my last tutorial experience.
I bought them pizza. They pitched in a little bit, but I wanted it to be a nice memory for me if, indeed, this is my last opportunity to teach at all. I fully expect to get a job as a sessional/term lecturer at some institution as the years progress, but, who knows? I may not get the chance to teach literature to willing (captured) students ever again. So, we had pizza.
It was a nice experience. I asked them to provide to me some feedback about the tutorial and they were extraordinarily generous towards me and my teaching methods. I did learn, however, that Shakespeare went over like a lead balloon. Damn that man.

yo dude...you totally just got blogged!
By the way, well done team neuromancer on the presentation today.
Yeah, congrats on both the presentation today and on teaching your last tutorial... Love the blog, by the way. Mine looks pale in comparison (well, sort of literally in some ways). But that's okay. I like yours.
Aah! Drive by bloggers!
Dean: You rocked at the synopis and term definition dude. That kicked ass.
Deb: Your blog is very focussed and way more professional. So, it's pretty difficult to compare. I like yours too.
